Heart of Texas Direct Primary Care helps individuals, families, and small businesses get longer visits, easier access to their provider, transparent monthly pricing, and primary care without copays or insurance billing headaches.
If you have insurance that's okay too! Your DPC membership works alongside your existing insurance, or without it. Most members use insurance only for specialists, hospitalizations, or major procedures. Many pair DPC with a high-deductible health plan (HDHP) to dramatically cut total healthcare costs.
Membership Fee
Age 0-17 $40/month
Age18-64 $65/month
Age 65 and over $100/month.
10% Discount if paid in full 1 year in advance, 5% discount if paid 6 months in advance.
Family Discount
Monthly Fee is discounted by $10 per additional person, for example
2 adults $120/month
1 adult and 1 child $90/month
2 adults and 1 child $140/month
All additional children after this are an $30/month
About Direct Primary Care (DPC)
DPC focuses on a membership-based, patient-centered, and cost-transparent approach to primary care. It offers more direct and comprehensive access to healthcare providers, emphasizes longer, personalized visits, and eliminates the complexities of insurance billing. Insured patients can still utilize their insurance for other medical costs such as prescriptions, specialist consultations, surgery, hospitalizations, equipment, etc.
In contrast, insurance-based medical office care involves dealing with co-pays, deductibles, insurance networks, administrative burdens, and potentially shorter and less personalized visits due to billing constraints. The choice between these models often depends on individual healthcare needs, preferences, and financial considerations.
Call or text directly, expect a return call/message within 4 hours in most situations if unable to answer immediately.
Urgent visits made same day or next business day either in person or when appropriate via telemedicine, if issue unable to be addressed over telephone.
